We are praying for a new Dean!

Trinity Episcopal Cathedral is seeking candidates for the position of Dean of the Cathedral. Trinity is a prayerful congregation that loves the beauty and rhythm of the Book of Common Prayer and the lectionary, and music is a big part of how we worship together. We are looking for a Dean who shares that love—someone who appreciates and honors tradition and also brings fresh energy and ideas to help us reach more people. We are seeking a thoughtful leader and a good communicator, someone who can help us listen deeply to God and our neighbors, dream big, plan well, and grow together. Clear communication, openness and collaboration are really important to us, and we hope for a Dean who is excited to build strong relationships with both the staff and the wider parish.

Trinity Cathedral, the historic Cathedral of the Diocese of Iowa located in Davenport, is a nationally registered Gothic-style building with a parish house built in 1993. Davenport is the largest city in the Quad Cities area, offering diverse cultural and employment opportunities. The Cathedral shares its space with the non-profit Tapestry Farms and the Deanery School of Music. We are ready for the next chapter in our ministry together and are excited to welcome someone who will walk with us, guide us, and help us live out our mission and vision in meaningful and joyful ways—both within our church and in the wider community. To learn more about Trinity Cathedral, please review our profile here.
