About the event

Join us Saturday March 7th to learn about LGBTQI+ awareness and allyship. Arthea Larson, Katie Petersen, M. Wolff, and Julie Knaak will lead you through terminology, activities, and discussion. All levels of background are welcome and encouraged to participate.

We invite you to participate in an afternoon of Safe Zone Training, conducted by the Episco-Pride team. This session will include discussions and insights on establishing safe and welcoming environments in our churches and community for LGBTQIA+ individuals.

The Episcopal Church is dedicated to full inclusion and equality in the church as well as in society as a whole.

Jesus calls us to love God and to love our neighbor as ourselves. In our Baptismal Covenant, we promise to respect the dignity of every human being. When we use the name and pronouns that someone asks us to use for them, we respect their dignity as a beloved child of God…
